We are redeveloping and redesigning our website so that it provides all the information that our different audiences need, presented in a clear way, whilst incorporating new interactive features. These could include anything from forums for exchanging news and information, through to the ability to rate and comment on our content.
It would be really helpful if you could spare a few moments to answer some short questions on what new features and content you would find useful on our site.

6. Thinking about the homepage of this site, would it be easier to find the content you are looking for if it was separated into different sections labelled for each type of visitor, e.g. social workers, students, employers, people who use social care services etc?
7) The current site does not contain any interactive social media features. These are tools that let you add your own content to the site and exchange information and ideas with other web users. You can do this in a number of ways, from chatting on a message board about a particular topic, through to posting a blog which others can read and follow.
Would you use the following features on our new site?
a) Forums (message boards) to discuss GSCC-related issues with the GSCC and other individuals in the sector
b) Blogs (an ongoing 'diary' which you use to share your opinions, thoughts and activities with others)
c) Profiles (this is where you store personal information about yourself that you want to share with others, you can add images, other web users 'friends' and groups to your profile)
d) Question & Answer (Q&A) section which displays answers to the questions you have asked
e) Video/audio content (e.g. video showing how to fill-in application forms, coverage of GSCC events etc)
f) Bookmarking/tagging to social networking sites (e.g. if you want to share some content or video footage with others, you can easily post it on sites like Twitter and Facebook)
g) RSS feeds (you subscribe to these news feeds to get instant updates on news, events and articles as they change on our site)
h) Commenting/rating articles (tell us whether or not you found a piece of content useful)
i) Virtual tours of meeting rooms (including ones that conduct hearings are held-in, so you can see what to expect in terms of layout and accessibility before arriving)
j) Sign-up to email updates on GSCC news and developments
