Policy update

The external policy environment is constantly changing. As the social care workforce regulator in England, and a Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB), the GSCC needs to keep on top of relevant policy developments.

They come in many guises, including published research, consultations, or announcements by other sector bodies, and may relate not only to social care, but also to health, regulation, public administration, and our status as an NDPB. Therefore the GSCC publishes monthly Policy Updates which provide a round-up of those developments that may affect us and/or inform our work, and these are now available through our website. If you have any queries regarding the Policy Updates, please email the Policy Research Officer.
